The LTWC Leaders are working to make the September 11, 2010 car wash happen this year. This has been an annual event since the start of LTWC years ago. Every year we raise funds for a worthy cause related to 9/11 or military.
As soon as we have some details we will post them here. Check back often for updates.
There is a possibility that Lisle will host with a Motorcycle Show in downtown Lisle IL on Saturday September 25, 2010. If it does happen Lisle Teens with Character has offered to help them with the show. Please pencil in the date if you want to help LTWC on this project.

Several of the Lisle Teens with Character members helped with the 2010 River Sweep project in May 2010. This was part of a larger project that covered all of DuPage County and is under the Conservation Foundation. The results for this years sweep were released by the Conservation Foundation. LTWC members helped out with the Lisle's Eyes to the Sky’s festival on July 2 through July 4, 2010. We had several teens and adults work multiple days and it was a very good time for all.
We had 21 people from LTWC volunteer this year. Unofficially we had over 150 hours of service to the project.
In comparison in 2009 we had 12 people from LTWC volunteer and we provided 49 hours of service. This is a huge improvement and a tribute to dedication of the group. Jake Haseltine was the teen leader for this project and he did a great job.
Please post a comment about any experiences that you had working the Eyes to the Sky’s to let everyone know what you did and what you liked about it.
Just wanted to let all the LTWC members that Doug Bradley is now the Admin for the LTWC web site (Lisletwc.org). John Jachna (former teen leader) created the site and did a fantastic job for the group. John has gone away to college and does not have the time in his busy schedule to keep the site current. John has been very helpful handing off the web site.
Hopefully we can get all of the LTWC members to visit the site and log in on a regular basis so that we can get communications to everyone.
If you are having issues with the web site you can email Mr. Bradley at
